Not far from the center of Jelsa, a little tourist place on the Island of Hvar, is placed one of the most beutiful beaches of the island. The beach Grebisce is placed beneath the same named camp which is located in a pine forest in a beautiful natural surrounding.
The beach is sandy and has a nice entrance to the sea which is perfect for families with small kids. The sea level is low, and the sea bottom is covered with sand. If you are not a lover of sand, then you can find your perfect spot on the paved parts where deck chairs and parasols are waiting for you. Thick pine trees and different mediterranean vegetation are hiding you from the sun so you can stay here trough the entire day.
There is a restaurant on the beach which has an excellent offer of meals and refreshing drinks. There are no supermarkets or night clubs near the beach, so if you are seeking for that you'll have to go to the center of Jelsa which is approx. 1,5 kilometers distant.
