Jelsa is a small place on the Island of Hvar with a coast full of beautiful beaches and bays. On of the most famous is the beach Mina which is located 500 meter from the center, beneath the hotel Hvar.

The beach is sandy and perfect for families with small kids, but also for all those who love sandy sea bottom. Level of the sea is shallow so you will have to walk a little if you want to swim. A part of the beach is paved and there are cabins and showers. 

On the beach you can rent deck chairs, and thick wood replaces parasols. Near the beach are located a restaurant and bar where you can refresh yourself with a cold drink or an icecream.
